TerraExplorer v5.1.0 is program and a plug-in for your browser for terrain viewing in 3D.
It allows you to view interactively digitally generated 3D world environments created using Skyline's SkylineGlobe products. With Terra Explorer installed, you can access photo-realistic, aerial image based terrains over the Internet, an intranet, or a DVD/CD-ROM.
When you install the program, it will put on your desktop a direct access to http://www.skylineglobe.com/SkylineGlobe/TerraExplorer/Home/indexTE.aspx, the website of SkylineGlobe where you can view 3D simulation from thirteen cities in the United States, Chamonix and Paris in France, Sydney in Australia and London in the United Kingdom.
If you own Skyline Globe Pro, you can generate your own 3D environments, and Skyline will host your project in their servers for free, allowing everyone access your projects with TerraExplorer.
You can also launch TerraExplorer as a stand-alone program and navigate .FLY projects stored on your drives. |
